    WHAT HAPPENED?

It was a frustrating day for Milan as a whole, as they fell 2-1 to Parma, but Pulisic certainly made his mark despite the defeat. The American scored a 66th-minute equalizing goal for Milan, helping erase a second-minute finish from Parma's Dennis Man. THE BIGGER PICTURE

With his goal, Pulisic put his name into the American record books, with plenty of room left to write his name even further.

The finish meant that the USMNT star has now scored in 10 different seasons in Europe's top-five leagues, becoming the first American ever to score one goal in each season across that timeframe.

At just 25, Pulisic still has plenty of top-level soccer in his future, which should allow him to extend his record in the coming years.

WHAT NEXT FOR PULISIC AND MILAN?

Following the defeat, Milan have just one point from their first two games, having settled for a frustrating come-from-behind draw against Torino in their Serie A opener. Next up is a visit to Lazio on Aug. 31 in the club's final game before the international break.
